JOSM is pleased to announce that Dr. J.T. Fisher will be joining our practice in August 2021. Dr. Fisher is a specialist in primary care sports medicine and will be assisting in the team coverage of the Arkansas State Redwolves.
Dr. Fisher is a 2012 graduate of Harding University, and he received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2017. J.T. was a resident at UAMS Northeast Campus Family Medicine Clinic here in Jonesboro.
Prior to returning to Jonesboro, he completed a sports medicine fellowship at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. There he served as an assistant physician for Texas A&M athletics.
Dr. Fisher treats a wide variety of non-operative musculoskeletal and sports medicine injuries. He has particular interest in:
- Ultrasound-guided Musculoskeletal Procedures
- PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)
- Prolotherapy
- Concussion Management using IMPACT, C3 Logix and SCAT
- Regenerative/Stem Cell treatments
Dr. Fisher is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Sports Medicine, and American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.
Dr. Fisher is a native of Searcy, Arkansas. His hobbies include golfing, fishing, and cooking.
